Pros

Nice people and staff you get to meet.

Cons

Where do I begin? the pay is very low for a tutoring company. They charge customers so much yet we hardly get any of it. I've worked for several tutoring companies and every other company i have worked for have paid me double what ATT has. It makes it so much more beneficial for my time to work elsewhere because i simply get paid no where near the same at ATT. ATT is also very strict on how many hours a week you have to work and where you have to travel. I don't always have enough time to work the hours they request so it made it harder for me. i would much rather work at a tutoring company where i have full responsibility for how much hours i wish to work, and how many students i wish to assist. ATT also expects me to travel distances that are up to 45-50 minutes away from my home. it means i spend almost three hours total with the driving/ tutoring, etc, yet i'm only getting paid for one hour. it's honestly so not worth my time. I also didn't like the fact that with the company i don't have much independence with what's going on. I would much prefer to be the first point of contact with parents/ students as i'm the one whose tutoring them. i don't like hearing things from managers instead. i would much rather them come to me directly as i'm the one directly helping the students and i can find it difficult trying to work through someone else who isn't involved in the situation. I also don't like the system where we have to make up hours. At my other tutoring company, if someone can't do a week, we just skip it and it doesn't then have to affect the rest of my schedule. At ATT, we have to make up all the hours as they have already been paid for. This makes it highly difficult for me (who is a very busy uni student) as i don't have the free time necessary to make up student hours. my holidays are also super busy and i cannot afford to spend time on tutoring just because my students had to miss a week during the term. I understand that them having to miss a week is not their faults, but i don't like how it then affects me and my schedule. it would be easier to just skip a week (unless it's highly necessary such as a sac/ exam coming up). What makes this worse is the fact that students are constantly missing weeks. It almost happens every week with me so i then have to take time out of my holidays/ study time to tutor them because THEY couldn't make a session. Being able to just skip weeks and not having to make up hours would make this so much easier to deal with. Overall, despite the great people, i would not recommend this work place to anyone. Try literally any other tutoring company and you will receive higher pay, more flexibility and more independence with your students.
