Pros

Good work flexibility - nice hours, work from home option, office closes for a week at the end of the year.

Cons

Company has basically been taken over by the IT/Project Management and Marketing departments. The focus used to be on our members and the Nurse Anesthetist community, but now our primary focus is on padding the resumes of a handful of IT and marketing managers. Pointless projects that result in hundreds of hours of workload (and hundreds of thousands spend on consultants) that do nothing to benefit our CRNA members (or the staff that supports them), but make a handful of managers look good in front of the board, and gives them good stuff on their resume for when they move on. Basically a handful of high level staff who have been here two years or less, who have never spoken to a member, who have never met a CRNA outside of the office dictating how the office should be run to people who have been working and caring for the CRNA community for ten, fifteen, twenty years or more. I realize there needs to be room for new ideas, but maybe we could also respect the experience and professionalism of the people who have committed their lives to this. This really was a good place to work a few years ago, but has completely gone off the rails.

Pros

The culture and people make the work more meaningful.

Cons

I really don't have any. No place is perfect but most would be hard pressed to find better.
