      Pros

      pay is getting better every year for licensed mechanic. airplane keeps coming. very steady ac schedule.

      Cons

      Some of full time senior mehcanic acas and old mechanic contractors were horrible. They were too picky, rude and aggresive to non aca workers. too much saxual joke even crew chief too. When acas made mistake, they just blamed on non aca guys. in Windsor, even 1 year aca, never removed paenl or parts. Just sit down infront of computer and talk with the other aca. I have never seen that inspectors removed panel or fairings for 2 year in windsor, except 2 contactor acas. In the afternoon shift, some aca watched drama or played game via their phone.

      good pay and that's it.

      Cons

      everything. where to start - new employees are treated like garbage. no vacation days until 6 months then you get 3 days.... for an entire year (sick/vacation). useless pto. no insurance... even though you are working for AAR they use a staffing company - which is still aar to get away with this. not paid for hours worked - manipulate hours/pay weeks in order to avoid paying OT. scummy leadership, favoritism, and unless you're related to or sleeping with someone in leadership - you will get laid off.
