Pros

Some great people and very hard-working team members. A few individuals are genuinely trying to make a positive impact.

Cons

The codebase is built on a weak foundation, and instead of addressing core issues, changes often amount to surface-level fixes. Promises to customers frequently shift, timelines slip, priorities change, and some features are quietly dropped due to the bad decisions made in the platform. There are ongoing organizational challenges. Workload distribution can be uneven, with some teams pushed to their limits. Leadership decisions sometimes overlook technical realities, and feedback from experienced staff is not always incorporated. This has led to the loss of valuable talent who were making a positive impact. Customer retention seems to rely more on limited competition than on delivering the best product. While ABC may be stronger than certain competitors, there is significant room for improvement. Recent staffing changes removed some high-performing contributors and growing leadership, while leadership messaging focused on optics rather than transparency. Technical strategy, particularly for ignite, has struggled with architectural stability. The engineering, product, and ops teams work hard and are committed to doing the right thing. However, without stronger technical foundations and more consistent leadership alignment, progress will continue to be slower than it should be and the customer will end up having to endure the pains.

Pros

The team culture here is truly outstanding, everyone is incredibly welcoming and goes out of their way to make new members feel included from day one. The collaborative atmosphere makes it easy to ask questions and get support, regardless of your role or experience level. People are genuinely kind, approachable, and eager to share their knowledge. It's a great environment for learning and growing, especially as an intern.

Cons

Everyone on the team is extremely busy, which means projects can sometimes lack clear structure or defined goals. It can be difficult to get dedicated time from mentors or leads to move initiatives forward, so projects may feel somewhat ambiguous or slow to progress. Being proactive is a must, as things can get lost in the shuffle when everyone has a lot on their plate.

Cons

Too corporate, bad to no culture, toxic work environment, no recognition. Endless work, unclear objectives and goals from senior leadership and management. Little budget to hire good talent, no budget to promote.
