Structured work, you know exactly what youre supposed to do and how. BAs are very helpful and supporting. They pay for certification, huge plus.
Cons
Confusing schedules l. Scheduling department does not take prefered language of child into consideration which makes it very hard for them to transition. Scheduling department can take away your hours whenever they want. If you are on the guaranteed hours model there are NOT written rules available to RBTs. It is extremely hard to live a normal life because you accrue PTO at an unreasonably slow rate and can only miss if uou have PTO EVEN if you got a sub. In fact you are still asked to get a sub even if you are using your PTO. Exceptions are made sometimes but you never know when or why they might be made.
