Pros
Small company, so everyone knew everyone. Was able to gain experience in just about every facet of the business. Smart engineers.
Cons
Management was somewhere between a puzzle and non-existent. No clear direction. No overall plan.
They really didn't like customers - too much trouble, asked too many questions, huge pain.
They had a "no-raise policy" they only told you about after your first review - you're supposed to work for the bonus...which is entirely out of your control. The China side of the business could - repeat, could - be an absolute gold mine but instead was operated as a living cartoon.
They grant options for company stock as a way of compensation - options which will likely never be above water; the way they value the company is based on very (deliberately) inaccurate accounting, which means they can readjust the value at will to keep the options worthless.
