I am continuously inspired and in awe of the incredible work we get to do at ACDS. It is so fulfilling to work for an agency that serves as such a beacon of hope and support to families living with individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities. I love being surrounded by like-minded people who are truly committed to making a difference in someone's life. Work doesn't feel like work when you get to have fun and engage with such an incredible group of clients and staff each day, Regardless of whether it's through educational programs, vocational training, or recreational activities, at ACDS you get to be a part of empowering someone to lead a more fulfilling and independent life! The positive impact of working for ACDS extends far beyond the individuals they serve but gives me a sense of purpose as well.

I love my job. However, I wish there were more opportunities to do big trips with the clients. Taking the clients to sleep-away camp was such a great experience this summer. I want to do more traveling with them and expose them to more fun destinations!
