Very little guaranteed pay. They are used to paying per hearing. They switched to hourly but won't pay you for all hours on site. Shady.

Pros
You're in control of your schedule and choose what shifts you'd like. If you're comfortable working for a particular judge, you don't have to. The pay per case is great and the job is pretty easy. It's not a stressful job at all.
Cons
You may not get a shift at all. At one time I didn't get any work for an entire month so it doesn't feel stable.
