Pros
Good pay if you are still in school or just graduated and need something while you look for another job. Good stepping stone for those looking to get into social work, teaching, etc.
Cons
Awful leadership. I was placed with all the Asian families who couldn't speak English because I was Asian (but could only speak English). The families would get angry at me for all sorts of things, especially because I couldn't communicate with them then "tell on me" to the supervisors who would always have the families' backs. No support or training whatsoever. Families expected the BI's to be miracle workers but they would be obstacles in every session. I don't think they ever let me work with an English speaking family. I quit with nothing lined up after 4 months because it was so awful.
