Pros

Depending on the office you are in ACES can be really supportive. Lots of strong clinicians where you can learn a lot and grow professionally. ACES can also be a good place for newer clinicians in terms of support and resources available.

Cons

In the last 2ish years ACES has really prioritized billing over all else which can and does put clinicians in a an ethical quandary in terms of best practices . Quality of CEUs are inconsistent and can leave a lot to be desired. They no longer provide reimbursement or a stipend for CEUs. Out of touch executive board makes a lot of the big decisions and will demand things like all clinicians in the office on Tuesday’s to increase office moral and mandatory peak performance meetings with no adjustment for mandatory non-billable meetings. RBTs/BIs should unite to get better hours and cancellation pay, because ACES is not motivate to fix the system on their own. Heck, supervisors should unionize so that mandatory non-billable expectations are decreased. Also, don’t get me started on diversity (or the lack of diversity) within the organization. Little diversity at the top, but they love to bring up how diverse and inclusive ACEs is.

Pros

Team members were helpful and great to work with

Cons

Management. They’ve slowly started laying off multiple people and are relying on AI. They keep telling everyone not worry about their job which is difficult to do when they’re terminating everyone. Management does not care about you and you’ll be lucky to get a 50 cent raise once a year.
