The recruiter called me and told there is a position available with one of their major clients. After the 1st round, they took a whole week to come back with the 2nd round at the last minute. After 2nd round, again they took a whole week to come back and said that i will be hired in two weeks and the offer letter will be sent next week. A week passed, but no calls came in. I had to follow up and they kept saying that HR is busy. Finally, HR did call me back and asked for documents to process the offer. But the offer didn't come through and i was approaching the joining date. I again followed up on the day of joining and they said they are waiting for the client response. And finally they stopped taking my calls. I wasted two full weeks waiting for them because i trusted them. Yes, they can say that they never gave the offer letter. But they keep on giving hope that i will be recruited and will be all set
