Pros
If you love children unconditionally this will definitely be a setting where you can commit yourself to the youth to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Cons
The foundation for administration and line staff is extremely fragile and will require an outside consultant from the city to implement and regulate work practices. Policies are not respected and admin implement what they want at their will, although there are policies. I believe that staff should be heard and changes should be made according to their feedback. They have town halls and opportunities for staff to share their input but the only changes are protocol related, not staff related. Childcare staff are the life blood to this 24 hour facility and they are not supported.
