Pros
Free Lunch And Snacks was really all they offered as "Perks" And the Salary was good, enough to deal with the nonsense. Most of the regular people were nice and ok to work with, but the company as a whole was a mess.
Cons
There was no leadership at this company, the senior executives were completely computer illiterate trying to manage software development; which was exacerbated by their complete lack of leadership qualities in general. They had no real clear view of the product or services and it reflects upon the lack of real partnership with outside companies, something that falls squarely on senior management. The software app and network system were riddled with bugs and errors and for all I know is up to this date insecure. But since the management has no real understanding about the technology they are developing over and over again the software developers blinded them with technobabble and obtuseness to decide when and where they want to work and what aspects of the program they care about. This has lead to alot of issues in QA and basic security and I would be worried that any outside partner who uses this technology to offer real monetary items might be hacked and those prizes stolen. The senior staff here were completely deaf and unwilling to cooperate or collaborate with anyone else unless it fits their agenda and their goals. Internal politics and egos control this company and the CEO was a capricious, egocentric, and completely out of touch with what is going on. I witness several incidents where programmers and other managers flat out misrepresented or obscured data and situations to make themselves look better or to avoid doing something. If you need money and don't care about what your doing, milk these guy like the CEO is milking his investors. If you are looking for a good company to work for with a future, this definitely isn't the place for you.
