Pros
I wore many hats at Waters Edge Lodge, and that was one of the perks. Being able to pick up shifts for different roles, and it gave great variety. I was able to meet a lot of the senior residents, and I got to know many of the co-workers. I worked for this company for 8 years, while going to school full-time. They are: - Flexible with hours - Flexible with your schedule - Give you various opportunities - Work is straight forward - Many of my co-workers became like family to me - Fun environment to work in - Work like a team together
Cons
You have to learn to be patient with the residents. It takes a certain type of person to be flexible with their demands at times, and if you are a Personal Care Assistant, giving them what they want and need so they feel well taken care of.
