Pros
There are numerous opportunities and meaningful work, which provide a strong sense of accomplishment and intrinsic job satisfaction. I am appreciative of the opportunities and experiences gained during my time with the company.
Cons
However, there is a lack of work–life balance, with constant firefighting and managing operational shortfalls on a daily basis. Compensation is not particularly competitive, and there are instances where a Sergeant’s salary exceeds that of their Officer-in-Command, which may impact morale. While business expansion is important, insufficient manpower makes sustaining growth challenging.
