Great benefits, very opaque senior level recruiting - Anonymous employee AFCEA Employee Review

AFCEA is a wonderful organization that believes in work/life balance. Everyone is kind, helpful, and welcoming. They also believe in promoting from within the organization.

It is a non-profit, so salaries will be lower than for-profit, but they work/life balance is worth it for me and for most employees at this organization.

Great culture--respectful and inclusive. This organization has positive energy and the CEO is steady and enjoyable to work for. Opportunities for amazing networking among cybersecurity industry.

The downsides would be that it is smaller and may not give you as much room to advance because people stay in their positions for a long time. It may not pay as well as industry in some cases but the work life balance makes up for it.
