Pros

AGC is a great company to start your career. Their internship program is top tier. From day one you are given real tasks and integrated into active deal flow, which pushes you to quickly adapt to the fast paced environment. You are paired with a mentor who supports you throughout the process and helps you answer questions both in an outside of work. As a smaller bank (mostly located in Boston) there is a strong sense of community. Everyone made an effort to get to know the interns, both in the office and at company outings. If you are interested in investment banking AGC is one of the best place to get real exposure to pitches, deals, and meaningful work.

Cons

The start was very fast paced, with little to no traditional orientation. From day one you are thrown straight into real work which can get overwhelming if you are someone who needs guidance. If you are eager to learn and can handle responsibility early on, this is a pro.
