Honestly this job contributed the downfall of my mental health and regret not leaving earlier.
This role isn’t remotely like any paralegal job it is an admin job and pushing people to sign up to tele sales pretty much.
Far too unrealistic expectations placed on you and if you don’t meet these management are completely hostile, not to mention at the end of the day you are expected to provide a count of everything you have done for the day, down to the last number.
The days are far too long, 8:30 till 5:30, the only plus is an hour break, more insult to injury is added when the two partners are barely in the office, when they are they you can tell there is no sense of appreciation for the rest of the team and don’t even acknowledge you. For less than one hour a day or sometimes not at all is only when they come into the office.
One of the partners is so rude, reducing a staff member to near tears by ridiculing him during his first week for making an error in front of the entire team.
No training at all, you are just handed a giant file to read through
absolute shambles of pay, literally minimum wage and if they could pay less they absolutely would!
If this workplace has taught me anything it is no workplace is worth compromising your health and general happiness and the management are exploiting young and impressionable graduates into this role, I promise there is so many other roles out there who will value you as a person.
