Pros

Thoughout my time I was was continuously impressed with the business model and very proud to work there. CEO is approachable and a great leader. In particular the company wide meetings were impressive. It was extremely motivating to understand the brilliant work that was happening across the organization. Generally speaking happy and engaged management.

Cons

Having to 'sell' the organization to prospective candidates was easy for some departments, and a challenge for others as there are clear differences in employee experience across the organization. Analytics struggles to keep strong talent, but if you can survive, the learning opportunities in this area can be career altering. HR has an unusually high turnover rate, particularly in recruitment. The irony of this is that these are the employees responsible for your brand and attracting top talent into the organization. It's beyond understanding that this has not yet been addressed as it is very damaging and has a critical impact on who will join the organization.

Lots of different roles within the chain of command so different objectives are being passed down Sometimes hard to feel if you're making a difference

During our January Business Update, our Executive team shared our Strategic Imperatives for 2023 and the ways we will continue to scale as an organization to help Associates under the "big picture" and where their role fits in. We also recently introduced a new Goal Setting process to better align with our quarterly planning process, and to encourage more regular conversations about goals between Leaders and Associates.
