It’s an amazing company with a great culture and wonderful people to work with

Cons

The leadership team is terrible. Inexperienced, without any vision or value to add. Lack of alignment between business and technology is tearing the team apart.

Thank you for your review. You are right, we have an incredible culture at AIR MILES due to the collaboration, dedication, and fun that our teams bring to work every day. In regards to your comments on management, we know that good leaders not only contribute to our growth and success but also drive innovation and create a positive work environment. As such, we consistently invest in ongoing training and development for all of our leaders. Last year we took steps to implement Leadership Key Performance Objectives to measure leadership effectiveness along with a leadership survey to solicit Associate feedback regarding leadership and to ensure we continue to learn as an organization. We know that developing our people is critical for increasing engagement, fostering our culture and enhancing performance, which in turn drives our results and growth as an organization. The Leadership across the organization, including technology and other areas of the business, are working together towards achieving our shared vision of being Canada’s best Loyalty Program. We encourage you to voice your concerns internally to your Leaders and Managers, and allow us to address this lack of alignment to continue to make AIR MILES a great experience for our Associates and externally. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the benefits and events offered to our Associates, as well as our remote-first working model. We appreciate your perspective on feeling as though your work makes a difference. We strongly believe that our people are our greatest asset and that the work done at all levels of the organization contributes to our success as a business. During our January Business Update, our Executive team shared our Strategic Imperatives for 2023 and the ways we will continue to scale as an organization to help Associates under the "big picture" and where their role fits in. We also recently introduced a new Goal Setting process to better align with our quarterly planning process, and to encourage more regular conversations about goals between Leaders and Associates.
