Pros

decent pay/benefits, friendly team in CT, wonderfully kind CEO and family, beautiful products. there are 3 genuinely wonderful people who work in new york.

Cons

the new york showroom is a disaster because of the abundance of internal issues in management, and the atmosphere in new york reflects this. bullying, micromanaging, hardly any time off, no WFH, little to no lunch break, the list goes on. you are very limited in your role here and there isn’t room for any growth. overall, you are doing far more work than you are being compensated for and are likely not being treated very nicely. additionally, pay is very subjective- everyone has a different salary despite having the same job title. there is no rhyme or reason to what goes on, and favorites are definitely played. there are a few AMAZING people at the company but the toxic employees do outweigh them. there are reasons why the turnaround rate is so high... it just isn’t sustainable to work in this environment.
