Pros
Positives while working at ALICE: remote option, but this varies on the role.
Cons
- Lack of career development: during my time here I never had a 1:1 with any manager to discuss how things are going, how to improve development/training and there was never a career development path discussed. - Lack of transparency: a lot of gaps in communication with management which then results in a lack of a clear message to employees. -Poor Onboarding/Offboarding: I interview with multiple managers during my process and the actual position I was hired for was never really disclosed. When coming on board both managers I interviewed with had left the company and I was put into a different role. Once that project had wrapped up, I was moved to another role that was outside the scope of what I was hired for and when not agreeing to the new terms I was let go. The HR platform that was used was inconsistent, had various errors which resulted in a long process to off-board. - Lack of culture: creating a culture among a remote team is difficult, but the importance of culture is not apparent here. - The pay is really low, especially with the job requirements for this role.
