-Onerous employment terms (refund of HMO where staff resigns before being confirmed; very widely restrictive non-compete clauses; management making all staff (irrespective of their level) give 3 months’ notice of resignation or pay 3 months GROSS salary in lieu; employment letter stating that the staff would pay the equivalent of 1 months’ gross salary in the event that the staff doesn’t resume at the office at the agreed date; etc)) -Reluctance to confirm staff -Very poor HMO plans -Micro managing by the MD (flat structure) -Very tense environment -Very poor remuneration -Very high staff turn around -A knack for instituting legal proceedings against ex-staff for their refusal to pay 3 months gross salary in lieu of resignation notice; or their refusal to execute non-compete clauses.

- Micro managing by the Managing Director - Strategic decisions are subjected to the mood and idiosyncrasies of the Managing Director - High Staff Turnover - Poor human relations by Management - Bad brand and image within the Industry - Companies in like businesses are resultant to do business with ALM because of its reputation for being a clog in the wheel of executing business transactions - Litigious, pedantic and vindictive management - Onerous non-compete clauses - Onerous terms of employment such as the requirement of 3 months' notice or 3 months' salary in lieu of notice; for all staff - Poor HMO plans - Poor condition of employment - Draconian respecting employees as defined in the employee handbook. - Lack of growth path for employees (flat structure) - Prolonged salary review - Reluctance to confirm staff
