Pros

Good pay for the industry. Many people pick up others’ slack. Employees that actually work hard don’t get rewarded by the company but there’s a sense of achievement from within.

Cons

A company more focused on creating processes than following them. More focused on enforcing archaic organisational policies (such as making a hot desk policy dictating what days the employee comes in from now on and where they sit” and making lives of employees rather than actually making it a productive place to work at. If a promising and dedicated employee joins, they either quit in a few months, or are converted into an unproductive “robot”. The managers couldn’t be more obsessed with power tripping rather than actually helping employees. Projects that could take weeks take months, and sometimes more than a year.

Pros

Working with ALONE is not for everyone. The role comes with clear expectations and requires real commitment — this is not a place where you can hide behind remote work or avoid responsibility. The work can be challenging and, at times, demanding. It will test your resilience, adaptability, and leadership skills. However, these challenges are exactly what make the job so rewarding. You will be part of a dynamic and motivated team, supported to deliver excellent services to as many people as possible. If you’re not afraid of hard work, and you want to lead with purpose while contributing to a lasting legacy, this is the right place for you.

Cons

ALONE is an organisation in the middle of exciting change and rapid growth. This means the work can be fast-paced and sometimes demanding, as new systems and priorities are introduced. It won’t always be easy, and flexibility is essential. However, this challenge comes with great reward: you’ll be supported by strong processes, clear policies, and an excellent compliance record, giving you the structure needed to succeed and grow alongside the organisation.

Pros

Really like my co-workers, money is okay, not great but not bad either, and the location of the office is ideal.

Cons

Don't love the new assigned working days for second day of work however, I find it really decreases staff rapport to not allow that freedom with the second day. If they are having issues with too many staff, most are more than happy to stay home...However, my main issue I've run into is with our leadership overworking us with little to no feedback and a lack of on the ground understanding of how long tasks may take. Also poor communication and too many last minute requests.
