Pros

Flexible Schedules. Can come in whenever as long as work is done unless there are short holds for your tests. Most coworkers are friendly.

Cons

So many. Your workload is determined by your tests assigned. If you're lucky, you'll be assigned a test that doesn't take much time and have a normal 40hr work week. If you're unlucky, you'll be constantly required to do overtime at the risk of being fired if you don't due to sample hold time. Despite this, management also will be upset if you do overtime. Yet they'll also be upset if you turn stuff in late. Almost everyone is constantly overworking because the corporate policy is to hire as few people possible for their bottom line; despite the fact that hiring more people to help at a normal rate would save them money compared to constantly having to pay out overtime. Additionally, communication is often lacking about policy changes or new requirements which will of course fall on you for not inherently knowing. Heads up! Salary is based on experience. Even though you will have the same title (tech or analyst), some people only make $17 and others $26/hr. It does not matter how hard you work, your salary will only slightly increase each year, even if you're doing twice the work as other employees making more than you.

Pros

Pretty much veryone is on the spectrum, so not much small talk is expected, noise-cancelling headphones and fidget toys are the norm.

Cons

No pay increases. Like none. Ever.
