Pros

Great benefits Fun projects; great content Culture mostly nice people

Cons

Laziness is tolerated and rewarded. Lots of people pretending to work hard but have no idea what they are doing. Innovation and ideas are not rewarded - instead the mediocre folks will feel threatened and come for your throat. One of the most blatantly racist places I’ve ever worked and of course sexist. Micro aggressions are rampant on a daily basis. Don’t bother going to HR - they will just fire you or lay you off. Note: the majority of POCs hired are typically cleaned out within annual layoffs. If you are a POC (Black especially), avoid this place. They do not support or promote people of color. Very little diverse senior leadership and those that remain are beaten down to submission. They won’t help you. It’s a good thing they’ve cleaned out all of the dinosaurs (the CEO, COO some of the network presidents), but they should have done that long ago. The damage is done and the rot is settled in. Only accept a job here if you are desperate. Otherwise go where you are valued - not just tolerated.

Pros

Great work life balance. Lots of support from a large team. Innovative. Wear many hats.

Cons

A lot of uncertainty about direction from middle management leaves team leads confused on best steps between large projects. Leads to half time new project cram and rush and half time refactoring work.
