Pros

Fun working environment, great for first job, team-oriented, free movies, crew gets movie premiers the night before release, plentiful opportunities for advancement if you work hard and commit time to the company, flexible hours, and free merch.

Cons

Below average pay, only GMs get paid well, management declined over time (understaffed), moderate turnover, staying at crew level means serving the general public which increases work stress over time.

Pros

Clear policies, friendly staff, clear expectations from corporate. Allowed me the freedom to train my staff and make sure everyone felt comfortable doing the job. Semi-frequent opportunities for advancement too for crew.

Cons

Toxic management practices from general manager. When I reported harassment from a third-party security guard to my manager, he didn't do anything. When I reported it to the corporate hotline because no one was doing anything, my general manager told me that she wished my annual review hadn't already been finished because she wouldn't have given me the raise I got due to my report. I really loved my job, I loved training my team and coaching them, the business was doing great; but after my report to corporate, my managers isolated me to the point where I had no choice but to quit. I would call for assistance with an issue over the radio and everyone would ignore me, they told my staff to stay away from me, and they started scheduling me for all night shifts despite nearly two years of only working days.
