Ametek has some standard benefits. Ametek business units are usually dominant in their market, which is nice. Ametek has a reputation for rewarding executives that perform well.
Cons
"Meeting the numbers" and AMETEK's growth goals are very high priority at AMETEK, at the expense of other values including product quality, customer service, and a positive company culture. In addition, AMETEK's structure does not encourage collaboration and input from lower level employees, creating an environment where lower level employees feel frustrated and have no means to prove their worth and rise in ranks.
