Pros

I have none to mention. I only worked south fulton for 5 years and the company treats the employees like crap, on top of working the area. Completely stressful

Cons

the company puts hospital transports and nursing home transports above 911. people dying and all they care about is kaiser patients that need transport to another facility. all non emergency calls come first. And they are so cheap that they refuse to put up extra trucks so the few workers have to run constantly between non emergency and some 911. This is for south fulton ga

Pros

Career growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, opportunities to learn and develop, ability to advance if you stay engaged and work hard

Cons

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

Pros

AMR San Mateo is making huge strides in changing the Old Boy culture of EMS. The operation is collaborative, cares for its employees, and acts with accountability.

Cons

Although it's much better than it was, AMR San Mateo still deals with staffing issues, primarily for medics, and forced mandation is still in play.
