Pros

Good people on the ground level, never missed a paycheck and it has always cashed.

Cons

This private ambulance service consistently prioritizes profit over the well-being of both patients and employees. This manifests in multiple ways: a chronic shortage of ambulances and essential medical equipment, and the routine dismissal of employee concerns about these issues by management. Ambulances are in a state of disrepair with high mileage, subpar equipment, and frequent breakdowns. Essential tools like radios, tablets, and the LOGIS system are often malfunctioning. This not only creates a challenging and stressful work environment for employees but also potentially compromises the quality of patient care. Furthermore, this disregard for employee feedback and basic operational needs fosters a demoralizing and unsafe atmosphere. It leads to low morale, high turnover rates, and ultimately, a decline in the ability to provide timely and effective emergency medical services. This situation raises serious ethical concerns about the company's commitment to its core mission of patient care. The company is also okay and happy with paying their employees lest than a fast food worker to save people's lives. It's appalling.

Pros

Career growth opportunities, supportive coworkers, opportunities to learn and develop, ability to advance if you stay engaged and work hard

Cons

Healthcare/EMS can be demanding, long hours at times, stressful days, and workload can be heavy depending on staffing and operations. These things aren’t specific to AMR, that’s our industry in general.

Pros

As we continue to strengthen our culture, our Core Behaviors remain the foundation for how we lead, engage, and deliver results across our teams. These behaviors are not just guiding principles—they define the expectations for how we interact with each other, our patients, and our communities every day. At their core, these behaviors drive consistency and alignment across the organization. By prioritizing care, encouraging open communication, seeking to understand, collaborating on solutions, and holding ourselves accountable, we create an environment grounded in trust, respect, and shared responsibility. I am proud to be part of a great organization that exemplifies the core behaviors.

Cons

Success of the Core Behaviors depends on consistent leadership, clear application, and sustained reinforcement over time. This is a challenge that will take time.
