Pros

-I've been at AMS for less than year, but my impression so far is that the leadership does a good job of keeping their egos out of the equation and looking for the best solutions to problems. They take other apartments, and feedback from their teams, into account, which is huge. -The communication, in my experience, has been great - conflict (when it comes up) is handled quickly and transparently. -The people here are amazing. Coming to work is fun! -You're given the latitude you need to do your job, propose new ideas, and have an impact. At least in my role, I have experienced no micromanagement, and have been empowered to do my job WELL.

Cons

-Perhaps if you aren't social and don't want to socialize with your coworkers, this culture may not be a good fit, since everyone at AMS tends to jump in with each other. This could be a pro, or a con, it depends on who you ask. -The culture is somewhat open to remote work, but is still somewhat focused on being in the office. With the main location being in Middletown, OH, this can be inconvenient - especially in today's work culture, with remote-work being common. I understand there are some Cons (on paper) to increased remote work, but I think that would be beneficial.

Easy to get foot into door. If you are a favorite they will spend extra time helping you.

Cons

Micromanagement, no real leadership "family/friend Owned" So no real ways to move up. Numerous lies and false promises about your future and the future of the company.
