Pros

Great work environment and benefits. Leadership is trying to make the organization better. The members appreciate what the organization is doing but the volunteers do not.

Cons

The staff is treated horribly by the volunteers and must constantly worry that they will be personally attacked by them. The volunteer culture is selfish and greedy. The what's in it for them mentality (trips, money, etc) is everywhere. The members suffer.

Pros

AMTA has changed a great deal over the last few years and it shows. Leadership pays attention and wants to create an environment where staff feels engaged and valued. Work/life balance and benefits are great, and the current teams are very collaborative.

Cons

Advancement will always be a challenge in mid size organizations and leadership is working to better define what that looks like.

Pros

Remote Policy Good Work/Life balance

Cons

Poor upper management. CEO Jeff Flom spews platitudes in an effort to appear as though he is listening and cares about employees. In reality, he has proven he will do whatever it takes to cement his own position within the company and satiate the Board of Directors. He is a weak, self-first leader who does not care about the employees that make the company go.
