Cons
ANSER has the dilemma of not knowing what it wants to be. Says they are a not for profit but at the same time places out of reach revenue goals and competes in a competitive, for profit industry. Essentially, not for profit just means stupid business model. Employees are either overpaid or underpaid. Recently, there was a mass exodus of young talent. So if you're below the age of 40 and have other promising opportunities, steer clear. Benefits are pretty good but I hear they may be cutting back on certain perks. Location sucks but the building does have a free gym in the basement and a District Taco. It's a cube farm and very grey which could lead you to wanting to play the window game (that's where you run and jump out the window). People are pretty nerdy but for the most part have a brain, social skills are lacking though. Management pretty much sucks as they are doing the same stuff that was done 20 years ago. Overall, don't work here if you are talented and motivated. However, if you're going to retire in the next ten years this is the place for you."
