Pros

There are some amazing people that work for AOTMP, they made the office worth showing up to most days.

Cons

This could get ugly. More people will be fired in your first 6 months than you’ve ever seen at any other company. I was there over a year and was considered the fifth or sixth most tenured person within the company. Their most profitable department is in direct competition with the people the rest of the business is supposed to be selling to. It’s like the owners want to be something, aren’t allowed to be that something, so they wrap a bunch of other somethings around it so they can say they’re not whatever something they’re not supposed to be. Their vision is “we’ll be a billion dollar company” but it’s just an airy statement made with arrogance and zero vision or clear action to get the business there. If you like unpredictable and aimless change for the sake of showing investors or others that the company is still viable. The company breeds poor attitudes and the management team manipulates employees against one another. They set false expectations with vigor and seem to enjoy watching their master plans of personal destruction. The overall perception of the company is so poor in the market the sales teams spend more time apologizing for past engagements then selling products and services.

I appreciate the recognition that there are some amazing people at AOTMP. That is so true. As far as people getting terminated the only ones who get terminated are those who have negative attitudes or do not perform based on expectations that are set from the beginning. As you know very well, we do not tolerate negative attitudes. They are poison. That said, we have to do a better job in the hiring process and we will work to continue to improve our coaching with people. That is one reason we recently hired a very experienced and talented Director of HR. I am not sure where you are getting your facts that you were considered the 5th or 6th most tenured person with just over a year. That math doesn't even come close to working. I am not sure you have all your facts on the most profitable department. First, that is not true. Secondly, making the the statement "the rest of the company is supposed to be selling to" is not at all accurate. A total of two sales executives in the company sell the solution you are referring too. I appreciate the comment about the billion dollar company statement being airy and with arrogance and with no vision or or clear action. That just tells me we need to do a better job of talking about the plan to get there and not just talk about the billion dollars. Contrary to your statement however we have a very detailed business plan with the strategy to get there. We update it annually. But to your point that is absolutely not true, perhaps we need to make others more aware of it. No excuses but we haven't shared it as a majority of the people are just focused on their current roles and it is hard to believe and see a billion dollar vision. As far as the management team manipulating employees against each other, I will definitely dig into that quickly. I have not seen or heard about anything close to that. I am sure I don't know everything that that goes on but this type of activity would normally get to my desk very quickly as we don't tolerate any kind of manipulation. I don't even know how to respond to your comment about why you believe management enjoys watching what you call personal destruction. Not sure why anybody would enjoy that or what the motivation would be. I am also not sure where the facts are to back up the statement that the sales teams spend more time apologizing for past engagements. That is not reflected in the numbers anywhere. Yes, we have absolutely had a few past customers who didn't like doing business with us for one reason or another and others who didn't see value. But to say sales spends more time apologizing would not be accurate. Overall our approval rating is up around 80% a far cry from the 50% average in our industry and is continuing to improve with the changes we have made over the last three years. Our customer retention rates and year over year growth rates are the highest they have ever been. As far as advice to the management / investors, I appreciate the advice and will definitely continue to look in the mirror at what I can do better as I always do. As far as active investors you are talking about me and my partner and one other third party. I will make sure I pass you entire post along to them as you suggest. I hide nothing from them. Overall, I appreciate the comments made on this site and have learned a lot but going forward I will address each comment as some of them could very well be considered "fake news" with no facts or basis to back up the statements. Pros

Great team that helped me learn new tools. Integrated me into the company culture by having the interns participate in team-building activities.

Cons

I noticed there was a high turn over of employees while I was working there.

Pros

The concept behind this company has potential and could be effective and beneficial with the right leadership at the very top.

Cons

I was honestly surprised to see that this company is still in business. They invested heavily in building out a new office space, but it seems they are no longer there. Over the years, they have hired many talented individuals, but I’ve witnessed the owners belittle and mislead more people than I can count. The company is run by a married couple. To be fair, I don’t think she’s as problematic, but it seems she avoids confronting him so she doesn't have to deal with the same issues at home that the rest of us had to deal with in the office. Please be cautious and take these reviews seriously. Don’t leave your current position for the promises they sell you—it’s not worth the risk.
