Pros
Initially things start off great. Great level of enthusiasm, Great to have you onboard, Interesting products and technology to work on. For the most part, colleagues are good people and everyone wants to support each other.
Cons
Pay is definitely below average.
Benefits are minimal. For example, 401K takes 6+ years to vest, and company matching is very low.
Company is family owned with family members spread throughout.
No decisions are ever made by anyone other than the president. Incredibly flat organization. It's like there is a president, and then 100 people reporting direclty to him.
Very high employee turnover rate. People are leaving at a very high rate either becuase of poor work envirnoment or better paying job.
I could go on, but my fingers are tired.
