Working for APP for a few years now, I alike most of my colleagues have been exposed to quite a few different sized projects in different sectors. This has expanded my confidence and career prospects and professional network quite significantly. If you're up to the task of taking on a project APP will give you the opportunity. Lots of public praise when you achieve a successful outcome on a project.
Cons
Often left on your own to figure it out whether a dedicated senior resource to guide and teach. Lots of corporate politics at a senior level that trickles into lower levels and creates negative environment. Some senior management in projects give more attention to the social butterflies than those who actually work hard. Remuneration, even if you achieve and are providing results is slow or non existent.
