Pros

Finance Department is well run with amazing team members that work hard and work as a team. Finance team members collaborate and are always ready to assist team members in every department they work with. Safety department is well run, proactive and works well with all departments. Company wants an atmosphere of collaboration and proactive teamwork.

Cons

Some projects are very toxic and siloed away from the positive environments within the company. Some leadership is abusive and toxic, HR does not act to change the abuse. Abusive leaders are known and recognized by other departments, but nothing is done to change the situation. Leaders pit people against each other and scheme to use employees to uncover issues with other leaders, employees get stuck in the middle. Leadership brags about violating compliance with government agencies to gain projects and wants credit for the non-compliant gains.

Pros

Working from home and the flexibility.

Cons

I experienced terrible communication from my manager, who was located in a different state. I had two managers overseeing my work under my main boss, and when there was no project available, I found myself with nothing to do. I lacked mentorship and guidance throughout my time there. When I had questions about a major project, my boss would take 1 to 2 days to respond, which was frustrating. Additionally, I received little training on certain projects, forcing my co-worker to step in and teach me. Ironically, my boss advised me not to ask my co-workers for help but to direct all my questions to her. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company for entry-level or mid-level positions due to the lack of growth opportunities and poor communication.
