Pros
Great holidays, well paid, good pension scheme, short working week (35 hours), low expectations of employees meaning it is very easy to look good for minimal effort.
Cons
Long winded, bureaucratic, outdated processes and procedures mean that AQA lacks commerciality or an ability to change. Those who are different are frowned upon rather than accepted and embraced for their perspectives and ideas meaning that many leave within a year and AQA is stuck where it is. Underperformance is habitually accepted in all areas and in some instances underperformers are rewarded with promotions The HR area and People Services function is dreadful. The employees within them are unprofessional , incompetent and unhelpful hiding behind closed doors on the fourth floor a long way from the employees they support . Many mistakes are made - none are apologised for or learned from. People data is non-existent - to the extent of not being able to produce an accurate record of who works here.
