Cons
Low pay. Two year contract requirement for Engineers. Long hours without acknowledgement unless you are part of the gang. No information on meetings the majority of the time until the last minute. Bad retention with Engineering staff which explains heavy reliance on contract Engineers. Slow to accept positive changes and advice. Typical Operator gossip-heavy environment. Inherited a position where the last two Engineers quit a little over a year after they were hired. Plant needs several upgrades to achieve the level of production demands. Numerous "bare minimum" employees. Some employees work with impunity even though they are destructive, disrespectful. Plenty of passive-aggressive behavior and Belief Perseverance.
