Pros

If you have a salary paid position you receive unlimited PTO and are given a lot of freedom/flexibility

Cons

This company comes across as a young, successful startup but in reality they are extremely inexperienced and struggle with managing money. Almost everyone in a leadership position only has the experience of working at Aryse. Others who are given management positions are not properly trained on how to manage a team and have to fend for themselves. Within the last two years this company has had to make two rounds of cuts of 15+ employees because of poor money management and cheaply made products that break. There also is a huge push of Christianity in the culture which makes everyone who is not religious feel like they have to be or they will not be able to succeed in the company. Just as all the other bad reviews state, the majority of leadership positions are held by family members who never have to worry about cuts or a low salary. There are sincerely good people that have worked for this company but none of them are the ones in charge. They preach being a company with integrity but behind closed doors there is so much toxicity. If you’re looking to be in constant fear of losing your job or are more interested in participating in drama than you are working, apply! Otherwise, don’t waste your time with this place.

ARYSE Response

We are definitely passionate about young leadership at ARYSE—not just leadership in position but in practice. We love how young people see the world and bring new perspectives. We try to be a learning organization and tend to bring people onto the team that are willing to learn and grow, to adapt and thrive, instead of people who already “have all the answers.” This does not mean we don’t value experience. Our leadership team consists of three in their mid-20s and four in our 40s and 50s. Four of us are men and three are women. If we don’t have clear direction, which I believe we do, that’s on me as the visionary leader of ARYSE, not on our young leaders. Our foundational principle at ARYSE is to honor God with everything we do and give back with what He blesses us with. As a Christian myself, I would be a hypocrite if I did not live out what I believe. However, we make it very clear that you do not have to be a Christian, or even believe in God for that matter, to work for ARYSE. No one has ever been let go because of their religious beliefs. This also applies to political beliefs.
