Pros
+ New office. + Slightly better pay, but may come at a cost given the cons overwhelmingly outweigh the pros.
Cons
- Hire & fire culture/approach at its finest. If 0 or negative star for overall rating was possible, the company & the bosses would deserve it. - "We Care, We Innovate, We Deliver" values & "ACE" (Accountability, Collaboration, Empowerment) behaviours are just paper talk only. The company doesn't have it's own DNA/culture & doesn't embody/live by the said values and/or behaviours. - Top management are incapable, hypocrites, don't lead by example & don't walk the talk. They don't even talk/collaborate with one another, but unreasonably expecting the subordinates to overcome the impossible department silos all by ourselves. - Majority of the top management/bosses are not groomed internally, but just parachuted in from external & have no clue/direction on what they want for their organisation/what is needed for the good of the company. - Office politics are rife & turnover rate is very high. Every year there is likely to be top management who get axed & when it happens, the whole organisation under will get eliminated as well. - Corrupt culture, no transparency when it comes to recognition & promotion. The incumbents/long time employees has mastered the art of manipulating data/results for the sake of pleasing/boot-licking the new, incapable, inexperienced (and perhaps, naive) bosses/top management - partly due to no shared database/single source of truth. - No collaboration across departments at all levels from the very top down to the very bottom. No work gets done, everyone is just pushing the work around until the last/unfortunate party has no choice but to clean up the whole mess/tank the workload. - Super messy & very manual systems. No database, most of the logs/data/information are recorded manually either on paper/excel file.
