Pros
Compensation and benefit are just ok. I like the product the company is working on, there are lots of smart people doing great works. The stock has been rising with the AI frenzy which benefit all the employee a little. The european part and the sites in San Diego and Wilton seem to be well managed.
Cons
The San Jose site is not well managed, People got promoted to manager not for management skills but for the length of stay in the company or Guanxi. Tall hierarchy and small groups with only 2 or 3 people and make work very inefficient. Managers in general don't know how to motivate or protect their employee but just try to get them overloaded to make the upper managers happy. The culture here is also getting closer to a Chinese company that values hustling and work overtime since the previous site director left.
