Pros

AV3 is made by its employees; the people I worked with made the job better and worse but the positives my coworkers brought outweighed the negativity of others. The company was trying to include its remote and satellite employees in company events even to the extent of paying for travel and accommodations. The owners are good people and definitely promote a friendly culture.

Cons

The distance between our satellite office and the main office along with the managerial hiring created some communication conflicts that led to several key issues. Getting different departments such as program management, engineering, programming, and installation all on the same page can be difficult. The back-end paperwork regarding travel, expenses, and sharepoint posting needs to be improved and everyone needs to follow it.

Pros

- you're not just a number, you're on a first name basis with ownership. -some of the best people work here. - Everyone is approachable, everyone is always willing to help each other out. - AV3 is family first, I can attest to that on a first-hand basis.

Cons

I have nothing bad to say they have been good to me.

Pros

Learn a good amount of technology

Cons

The job itself was physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift 50lbs and the willingness to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb. The limited opportunities for innovation and contribution to the growth of the team made the job unrewarding, and there was little motivation to excel or improve. Unfortunately, the poor functioning of the human resource department overshadows these opportunities as well. The lack of communication, poor organization, and unresponsiveness of the department has made it challenging for employees to address their concerns or seek clarification on policies and procedures. This can lead to unnecessary stress and frustration that could otherwise be avoided. One final note, the unprofessional behavior of some coworkers has created a toxic work environment. This includes inappropriate language, belittling comments, and a general lack of respect for others. These behaviors are unacceptable and detract from the potential growth opportunities provided by the role. Human Resources was aware and did nothing to prevent it.
