Pros

Great vendors and products to be around.

Cons

Sales management beyond their depth. More interested in boosting their personal profiles than in effective sales management. Not leaders by any means, and do not inspire. Hourly sales updates sent to all employees by e-mail very negative and berating. Effectively telling salespeople they are poor when numbers not where they want. Most quality employees have either left or been let go over the last two years leaving mediocre or new people. Very little cooperation between departments so there is no feeling of a team atmosphere. Departments do not help each other, so everyone is pulling in their own direction instead of working together. Several recent corporate decisions have driven long time dealers/customers to buy from local competition. There is no mission statement or philosophy that guides the company. The mentality is "how much can you sell today?". It has become a very toxic work work environment.

Pros

Some remaining team members try to help each other. If the recruiting pitch were actually true then it would be "start up energy with 20 years of industry leadership. With deep pocket investors and wealth to be made. 2 experienced owners that are committed daily by being hands on" None of which is true.

Cons

Revenue drop of 50% in 2 years. Customer attrition of more than 50%. Unethical finance practices with top tier manufacturer partners, as well as holding AP checks until vendors complain on a regular basis. Employee morale is non existent. Dealers routinely call or write to vent their disappointment with the branches and the poor customer service. The competition is doing everything better. The only ones who won't accept it is the executive team whose inflated egos aren't talented nor smart enough to right the ship nor hold themselves accountable. Benefits are bad. Pay is average. New branches are smaller & in bad locations.
