Pros
I have worked at AVG Automation for 13 years now in various departments, office, sales, production, quality, and engineering. There is no better company in the world where you can learn so much and advance your career. The owner ( sometimes referred to as "guru" which means teacher) is the best teacher there ever could be. He is also very hands on, in all aspects of the company and is not afraid to get his hands dirty, so manufacturing workers love him. Another one of the greatest advantages of working at AVG Automation is working in a high technological manufacturing environment, which of course means job security. The more you are willing to learn, the more management invests in teaching the skills needed to keep both the company and workers successful. It is the most pleasant environment I have ever worked at. Associates are cheerful and supportive. Also, location is great, the best in Quad Cities area. There is no better place to work where hard work, intelligence, dedication, drive and achievement are amply rewarded. If you are in this category of workers, you can expect, frequent reviews and raises and a rapid advancement in your professional career.
Cons
This environment could sometimes present a work/life balance challenge for some people, particularly those who just want to do a 9-5 job and do not care about company's advancement.
