Pros

Coming January 2022, I'll be completing two years of service at Avtar. In a nutshell, the journey has been a commitment to continuous learning in a belonged workplace environment. Top 5 things that I believe makes Avtar the best place to work- 1) Truly lives up to the tagline of power of diversity 2) A sense of purpose that makes our work more meaningful 3) Great support and encouragement from colleagues and senior leadership 4) Amazing work-life integration and flexibility 5) Programs in place to help us aspire to be our best

Pros

The work flexibility is good. They pay is moderately good. The middle management is good.

Cons

5 things you will find here: 1. Many of the upper management people will not respect you as they only care about their growth and not their team's. 2. Weekends are non- existent. You will be expected to work whenever someone needs you to 3. Very few upper management employees are good mentors. The others take credit for what their juniors have done and blatantly refuse to give any form of recognition to anyone else 4. It is very common to see a senior employee making disrespectful comments towards their subordinates 5. You will lose the passion for work in a while because while the good you do won't be recognized, the bad they do, will be saddled on your back as your burden to bear. They will trap you and not let you leave with their stringent clauses and I have seen many juniors feel hopeless there because of the above mentioned points.

Pros

A place where high performance is not meant as cut throat, belongingness is not seen as cozy stuff & leadership is not meant as a buzz word. Its a great opportunity to be part of a powerful brand that was a trendsetter in DEI space yet be a work in progress for something even bigger.

Cons

Bootstrapped organisation hence it works on lean management principles so multi tasking with various hats is business as usual.
