Pros
- There is a comprehensive induction process in your first week. It helped me understand the business and get to meet other new starters before settling into my team. - Whether onsite or on online meetings, everyone is really friendly and takes the time to chat to you or will thank you for what you're helping them with, it makes what I do feel like it's valued. - My role is pretty varied which I enjoy, with larger projects alongside the day-to-day. - My manager is fantastic, I feel I can ask for flexibility and support where needed and they help me develop my knowledge in other areas of my role, whereas in previous jobs there's not been the time or internal support. - I was really impressed with the company's approach to managing Covid with set policies in place for going onsite. - The board make time to update all levels of the business on performance, new projects and initiatives, so everyone is on the same page and you get insight into what other teams are doing, which is nice to see in a larger business.
Cons
There can sometimes be pressure but I can talk about it within my team and get support balancing priorities so it becomes more manageable.
