Pros

I have really enjoyed working with this company and my resource manager. Their professionalism stood out among the crowd through their career guidance, resume review, and interview preparation. Communication was a strength which I could count on; they were courteous, timely, and thorough resulting in an advocate getting me in the door for interviews, and subsequently, being hired.

Cons

I highly recommend anyone seeking a solid advocate who goes the extra mile to ensure a great fit between perspective employee, and potential employer.

Pros

Glassdoor would not let me give Azad zero stars.

Cons

Please read the reviews carefully: they read like a corporate marketing firm using sockpuppets to post reviews to Yelp. In my professional career in Portland (about 20 years), I have encountered many mediocre contracting firms--but had the misfortune of discovering how awful Azad was after I had worked with them for a little over two years. I personally know two professionals who were caught in Azad's "we have a new contract job for you" scam: they refused to return because their experience was so negative--and Azad turned around and reported them to the state: they lost their unemployment benefits shortly after that for not "accepting work". You'll probably not be too surprised to discover that a substantial number of HR grievances have been filed with the State of Oregon BOLI (Bureau of Labor and Industry). Another staffer on the same project hired an attorney to get her "retention bonus" from the company: they had a long history of not paying this bonus out due to "poor performance" ratings at the end of a contract. Hadi Asgharzadeh continues to be listed as the company principal: if you are a technology professional, stay far, far away from this firm: you're better off working for Kim Jong Un.

AZAD Technology Partners Response
12y
At AZAD Technology Partners, the company encourages all and any feedback from employees and business partners as it is committed to providing the most professional services with the highest integrity in the industry. These claims, however, are simply false. Since the firm’s inception in 1992, there has never been an employee issue that was brought to the State of Oregon BOLI, DOL, or any other government agency. There has also never been one instance of labor violations or HR grievances filed in the company’s entire 22 year history. This can be verified by any investigation or inquiry as this information is open to the public. The firm thrives on its ability to retain its employees, as employee retention is one of its core business values. The typical tenures of AZAD employees are over several years, and some over a decade. The firm has built a reputation over two decades for its integrity, employee partnerships, and serving the community at large.
