Feels like hell - Case Manager Abbott House Employee Review

Staff members here are very kind and helpful. The job itself is fairly low stress and way less documentation then some of the other jobs I've worked in psych. Most days you're schedule within the building is flexible. Caseloads are reasonable and not hard to manage.

Benefits are not that great for full-time hourly employees. First, you basically have to wait till two months of being there to even enroll in benefits or get the extra pay for holidays. You are expected to work holidays if they fall on your scheduled work days and get paid an extra eight hours. You can ask for the time off from your supervisor but it's not guaranteed and you also don't get paid if you don't work it.

The residents are wonderful people.

The Administration only cares about the bottom line.
