Pros
Some of the people you meet are really nice, I’ve made friends for life working there. Good facilities and IT department who are willing to help whenever there is an issue
Cons
The salary rates for non solicitors/partners etc is really poor, I got one pay rise in 3 years of less than £500 and that was still basically working for minimum wage. Management in the department was poor, 2 of our team leaders either left or got sacked in the time I was there and we were left to run the department on our own without any recognition at the end of it Some of the managers clearly like some people more than others, you will know who they are in a very short space of time Basically no room for progression, no promotions were given in the 3 years I worked there Unrealistic volumes of work to the point where people were regularly starting work hours earlier and finishing hours later without being paid No WFH offered
